3D Salt Dough Maps

Lesson: Geography

Given the schools recent charity work for the Rotary Club, Year 5 have been studying Kenya.  As part of our work on map reading, the class examined topographical and geological survey maps to see how mountainous the region is.  After drawing out Kenya and it’s surrounding countries, groups made their own salt dough and created their own version of the terrain.  Have a look to see how we got on.
