DESIGN TECHNOLOGY WEEK (2) June 2019

Classes were involved in the second Design Technology Theme Week last week and thoroughly enjoyed all of the fantastic design projects set by the teachers.

The children were involved in a variety of investigative, design, making tasks and activities during the week which finished with them finally evaluating their products.

Project challenges included: making a kite that would fly high, a crane that would lift a heavy weight, a boat that floated in water, making a Roman Chariot and a moving book.

At the end of the week, the children were all invited into the hall to see some of the work that had taken place across the school. Each class involved had examples of the DT process including some samples of the end products. These were explained a number of class representatives from each Year group.

A fantastic, creative and highly productive week!
