Making our puppets

Lesson: Design and technology

The children practised their sewing skills on binka before they sewed their final puppets. They found this quite tricky but it was great to see their determination and perseverance! After making their puppet on paper, they cut out a template onto the felt and joined the two pieces together with a running stitch. Once this was completed we had great fun adding on all the details using a variety of materials.
