What a day for WOW writing- Class 4

Lesson: English

What an exciting day Class 4 had on Friday! We were all sat trying to think of something for our WOW writing when Miss Ratcliffe made a very strange discovery outside our classroom. A broom and a letter had mysteriously appeared written from the Witch from Room on the Broom! You probably won't believe us so we've posted a picture of the letter to show you. She told us that she had left a potion to help us with our WOW writing but we had to touch it to activate the magic.

We all rushed outside, with the cauldron she had left behind, to investigate. We were careful not to lift the hat too high in case we let the magic out. Some of us enjoyed getting stuck in but others decided that watching Miss Humphreys touch the potion would be a far better idea. (We can confirm that the potion did feel rather unpleasant!)

We couldn't believe it when we got in and found that the witch had left us sheets for us to write our own potions on! She had even left her favourite music on an iPad for us to listen to while we worked and left us an address so we could send the work to her. The witch must have been very busy because we hear from Mr Shaw that she visited Class 3 as well!  Miss Humphreys is really hoping that she posts our brilliant work back to us in time to put in our WOW books ready for next week's writing. We will post pictures of the work when we get them back.
