When a dragon moves in

In Year 1, our learning this week has been based around the story 'When a dragon moves in', by Jodi Moore. First we learnt and retold the story. Then we chose a character of our own to create and describe. Finally we then had to plan and write our own version of the story using descriptive language and key story vocabulay. 

Elsewhere this week, we have been exploring numbers up to 100 in maths. We have worked hard to disuss the value of two digit numbers and compare sets of numbers. In history we continued with our 'Pre-Historic Britain' learning, focusing on the Ice Age. 

We have been been working hard to keep up with our phonics, and read our eBooks every day to an adult.
