Welcome to Class 4Z

Miss Zwanepoel's class

Welcome one and all to our class page. There are 32 children enrolled in our class so I'm looking forward the fantastic buzz of energy that that will bring! We're in for a real treat with the topics that we're due to cover this year: from The Americas and What's that Sound?, all the way to Roman Britain and Teeth, and lots in between! We'll be using this space to share information on what's needed from home and what we've been doing during the week too.

Year 4 are very lucky to have the support this year of Mrs White. She'll be working closely with a variety of children throughout the year and is looking forward to it.

Homework

Our homework timetable is as follows:

Monday - Spellings given out for the following week's test

Wednesday - English or topic (to be handed in on Friday)

Friday - Maths (to be handed in on Monday)

We expect children to read their scheme books for 20 minutes every night (please sign your child's reading record regularly  - at least 3 times a week) and test their times tables knowledge on Time Tables Rock Stars at least 3 times every week.
