Lesson: Design and technology

Our final task was to build a crane that could lift a heavy object.  The crane had to use a gear and pulley to lift but its design was completely up to the group.  The class worked in partners which meant that they needed to show good team skills.  The best groups were able to talk to each other effectively and know when to do things apart and as a pair.  Everyone had a lot of fun and were able to make something they could be proud of.
