Lesson: Religious education

This half term, Year Four have been studying Judaism and asking themselves the question of whether Jewish worshippers still have as strong a connection as they did in the times of Abraham and Moses. Mrs Berger brought in to show the children a collection of kippur which have been worn by children in different bar and bat mitzvah's as well as prayer books so the children could see the different passages written in both English and Hebrew. The children were also lucky enough to see a copy of the Torah which they had heard so much about during their lessons. Through discussion with Mrs Berger and looking at these resources, the children were able to form an opinion about their big question.
