R1 2019 - 2020

Mrs Trasler

Welcome to R1's homepage!

What a year we have had so far! Miss Barnett and I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching your children so far this year and we are looking forward to having everyone back together again in school.

Our year so far has been filled with fun, laughter, new learning, lots of exciting activities and adventures. We have welcomed visitors from the Fire Service, Nurses and the Police as well as some mystery readers! We have been involved in a range of different activities and have celebrated special events such as Pancake Day and Mothers' Day. Alongside all these exciting activities, the children have begun their reading and writing journey and learnt alot about number, shape, space and measure.

We are now in our final Summer Term... However, currently we are going through this very challenging time in lockdown and we are supporting you to continue with learning at home. I just want to thank everyone for everything they have been doing so far, you are all doing an amazing job as I know it is not easy with all of the other pressures at home. We will continue to send daily emails with videos, challenges and interactive activity ideas so please keep checking and contact us if you have any concerns.

Thank you for all of the kind messages, feedback and photos of amazing home learning. We love to see photos of what the children have been up to at home so please continue to email these to us. We will share these photos in gallery items each week so the children can see what each other have been doing.

Please do not hesitate to contact me, via the office or our class email should you have any questions or concerns. The most important thing at the moment is for everyone to stay healthy and happy.

Thank you for your continued support,

Mrs Trasler
