All about Diwali

Class: R1 Year: 2023 - 2024

We have been learning all about the Hindu celebration of Diwali this week.

The children enjoyed listening to the story of Rama and Sita and learning about why Diwali is known as the festival of lights. They loved creating their own diya lamps out of clay. They also really enjoyed looking at different Rangoli patterns and lots of children chose to create their own Rangoli patterns using different media.
