Bean Replanting with 5M and 1G

Year 1 have been learning all about plants in their science work this term and what better way than growing their own plant! We have talked and learnt about the different parts of a plant and what their job is, and what a plant needs to grow. The beans we planted had grown SO tall they needed bigger pots so Year 5 kindly offered to come and help us replant them. We were very careful as we took the plant out of its smaller pot where we could see all the white roots. Year 5 helped us measure the height of our beans at the end of the afternoon. Fabulous team work from all of the children, well done!
