Dutch lesson brought out year 5’s competitive side!

Lesson: Languages

Year 5 pupils were treated to a Dutch lesson during their MFL slot this week. We were lucky to have Rochelle, a student from Holland in our class.  Back home in the Netherlands she is taught predominantly in English at school and is spending 2 weeks at Lacey Green as part of her international internship. Pupils soon got to grips with the numbers 1-12 in Dutch and took part in a variety of games to consolidate their learning including bingo, splat and Quiz quiz trade. A big thank you to Rochelle for all her input and for bringing the special chocolate sprinkles!
