Exploring animals and their habitats

Lesson: Science

It was a beautiful sunny afternoon on Tuesday so we took our Science learning outside. We looked carefully for different animals in their natural habitats. We spotted birds, snails, worms, bees, wasps, flies and footprints from a fox or a cat.

Miss Wortley lifted up a plant pot for us to discover worms and woodlice. We carefully put the pot back where we found it to protect the worms from predator birds.

We then returned to the classroom to share our findings. We discussed the anmals we found and their habitats.
