Friction

To conclude our work on forces class 3S have been learning about friction.  We carried out an experiment to compare the force needed to pull an object across different surfaces. As a class we predicted the force required to move an object across a rough surface would be greater than the force required to move an object across a smooth surface.  We predicted this because we have learnt that friction slows things down.  Please ask your child about their conclusion, was their prediction correct?
