Growing sunflowers

Our new Science topic is all about 'plants'.  So far we have explored and labelled the different parts of a plant and learnt what each part is used for.  Today we have each planted a sunflower seed which we will observe over time to see how tall it grows.  We are also running a comparative experiment to see if sunflowers can grow in different conditions e.g. without water or sunlight or both.
