Introducing Lego WeDo2 - Year 4

YEAR 4 - Lego WeDo 2

Pupils in Year 4 have, this week, begun a unit of work on control and programming. The children enjoyed their first session on learning how to use the Lego WeDo 2.0 APP and accompanying hardware. They explored the App and then began to complete one of a number of mini projects. 

They began by following the App build instructions to enable them to create a small mobile unit. Those children who managed to create their robot models, then went on to begin to programme the robot to move forward and backwards.

The children loved the experience and worked well as a pair to work towards completing the task.
