In the second part of the week, we examined the use of pulleys and tested three different kinds: a single, double and quadruple pulley.  We learned that pulleys help to distribute the force needed to pull up an object.  As a result, it feels like an object weighs less.  This would come in handy for our final challenge: to build a crane.
