R1 meet Ernie the Tortoise

Earlie on in the week the children were treated to a day with Ernie the tortoise! Ernie is the pet of Jackie who is one of our mid day and after school club team and offered to bring Ernie in to help the children understand how to care for living things. It was a great day watching him play on his seesaw, eating lots of different fruit and vegetables and watching how quick his little legs can actually go! 

We loved looking after him for the day and hope to see him again soon!
