7.11.23 Library Visit

Class: 2R Year: 2023 - 2024

We walked to Wilmslow Library, past our local church and the river Bollin. We spotted the types of houses like semi-detached and identified deciduous and evergreen trees. It was great to walk through our local area and we even saw a double rainbow! 

We arrived at the library and met our local librarian. She welcomed us in and taught us lots of interesting facts about our local library. We found out more about all the different types of books you can take out and the different services they offer such as using the computers and borrowing board games!  We can even print our homework out there! 

We then enjoyed time exploring the library, reading a range of books by different authors. We found books linked to our learning and books by authors we had learnt about at school, as well as lots of new authors and genres!
