Class 4J - Design Technology 

Yesterday, the children in Class 4J were asked to investigate a range of materials and techniques to try in order to help them consider potential design proposals.

They had to investigate and explore the following:

-  ways in which to suspend a bulb 12cm above the desk

- ways to hide any wire cables within an interior structure

- ways to combine and join wide range of recycled materials 

- ways to ensure that their product looks aesthetically pleasing and appropriate to the context of the problem ( ie hiding the interior)

After having explored the above techniques, we evaluated the outcomes and related them to the desired product and potential issues and problems they might encounter when making.
