Direct Speech

During this week in English, the children have been concentrating upon using direct speech for conversation within narrative texts. The children were initially asked to dramatise part of the plot  in ' The Lost Happy Endings' when Jub is stopped by the witch in the forest. The children re-enacted this part of the story and went on to create a short extract of dialogue based upon it.

The children also began brainstorming all of the synonyms for said and weren't allowed to use the word 'said' within the above writing.
