Design and Technology Day 1

Lesson: Design and technology

Today was the start of Deisgn and Technology week in Year 2.  Pirate Paddy asked us to help him with his lunch box dilemma...to design and make him a new lunch box! It needs to be suitable and strong enough to send across a wire to the other pirate ship.

We started off by looking at the positive and negative features of his current product (a basket) and how we could improve this. 

Next, we spent some time investiagting current products so we could evaluate them.
