What a mess we found in our classroom this morning, the witch from 'Room on the Broom' had appeared again in our classroom and left a trail of muddy footprints on the table and over the side of the cupboard. (Don't worry Mrs Dooley, we would never do that!). She left us a letter explaining that she didn't find her missing hat and could we make her some new ones. She wanted a more decorative hat and we were more than happy to help her out! We measured the shapes using rulers and then coloured and sorted them based on their size. Some of us made strips of different lengths for the hat and practised measuring those.
