How much sugar?

Year 4 measured out the amount of sugar in some popular drinks.  It could be tricky as some drinks were 500ml but the label only showed the amount of sugar in 100ml!  We discussed why companies might want to present the information this way before comparing drinks fairly.  We were surprised to find out that the carton of apple juice had the most sugar in - even more than the cola!  We then looked at the effects on our teeth and bodies of eating more than our recommended daily amount and discussed how we could make healthy choices.
