Learning about Evolution in Y6

Lesson: Science

Year 6 have been studying evolution and adaptation in science. This week, they have used a variety of implements to pick up some dried foods. This was to illustrate how different objects worked more successfully with different types and sizes of foods. This was an excellent illustration of Charles Darwin’s study of finches on the Galápagos Islands.
