Our Brilliant Bear Work
So far this term it's all been about Bears! We have read the stories Goldilocks and The Three Bears and We're Going on a Bear Hunt. These books have helped us to work on our story telling, reading, comprehension, writing and drama skills. We have also used non-fiction books to help us learn facts about bears and in maths we have been using prepositional language and have begun to learn to subtract.
As part of our work we have brought in our favourite bears from home which we thoroughly enjoyed. Although we did have to go on our own bear hunt when we found they had gone missing from our classroom! Luckily we found them all having fun exploring the school, with some even sneaking into Mrs Dooley's office!!
