Safer Internet Day in R2

Today has been Safer Internet Day across the school and within R2 we have been talking about how to be safe online by thinking about how to keep safe when using the Internet on any device such as iPads, tablets, laptops and phones. We have listened to stories and discussed what we should and shouldn't do when using the Internet. 

We then played a yes/no game to answer questions about how to keep ourselves safe online, seeing what we had remembered from the day. By using stories, games, role play and questioning we learnt 4 key messages which we hope you can remind then children about at home:

1. Be nice to people online and in the playground

2. Don't give any personal information out to anyone

3. People you don't know are strangers if it is online or in the street

4. If you have a worried feeling in our stomachs which feels like butterflies you must tell an adult you trust. 

The chidlren are all worked hard all day and all did amazing job of remembering how to be safe online.
