Sound Survey

Class 4J have been considering all of the sounds that they can hear around school ( internal and external ) this week and deciding about their sources. Also, the children were asked to identify more specifically as to whether the sounds were high, medium or low in terms of pitch or loud and quiet in terms of the volume. We discussed some musical terms in relation to vocal pitch. Some very interesting comments were made in relation to these aspects and discussed. The children went on to create Pic Collages of Sound Sources in the environment.
