The Day the Crayons Quit by Drew Daywalt

This week we have been exploring the book, The Day the Crayons Quit by Drew Daywalt. We have been learning all about the story. Today in English we discovered that all our crayons had mysteriously disappeared. We returned from playtime to find our classroom in a bit of a mess. On our tables, we found some letters addressed to us, explaining that the crayons weren’t very happy and that they’d decided to go on holiday. We replied to them and tried to persuade them to come back. We do hope they return tomorrow!
