The Way Back Home

This week we have all really enjoyed reading the book 'The Way Back Home' by Oliver Jeffers. We have got to know the story very well by drawing our own huge story maps as a group. Then we created our own stick puppets and retold the story verbally with focus on including detail and clear speaking. We even started using WOW sentence openers like 'Suddenly...'. Amazing!

I am proud of the children's super turn taking and teamwork this week - a massive well done to everyone.
