Year 1 at Chester Zoo!

On Tuesday 7th May, Year 1 went to Chester Zoo! We first got to explore the zoo at our own pace. We saw a rhino, elephants, flamingos, orang-utans and much more!

We really enjoyed our learning workshop, led by one of the Chester Zoo experts. We learnt all about giraffes (some of us got to see them having their lunch) and we got to see the baby giraffe too! We also explored the Tropical Realm which is the home of over 30 different species of bird. We found out that there are over 21,000 animals that live at Chester Zoo.

We saw lots of different animals throughout our day at Chester Zoo. We really loved the lions and bat cave!

A big thank you to the adult helpers who came on the trip with us! We hope you had as much fun as we did!
