Year 6 Science - Reflection and Refraction of Light

Year 6 have continued their current science unit by studying reflection and refraction of light.

They have been learning about incident rays and reflected rays and how the angle of incidence is equal to the angle of reflection.

Refraction is when light rays pass through transparent materials, are slowed down and change direction. This often causes optical illusions such as the ones in the photographs.
