R1's trip to Lower Moss Wood

Today we went on our first ever class trip, to Lower Moss Farm. We had a fantastis day and were impeccably behaved.

We arrived at 10 am this morning to be greeted by the woods warden Ray, who made our experience brilliant. He had us all, including the adults, laughing and smiling all day.

In the morning we went on a walk through the woods where we got to sing to the birds, sing around the worlds biggest tree and sing to the ducks. We also met an Eagle owl and saw some badger poo!!!!!  As well as having lots of fun we learnt many facts about the woods and Ray even got us to like nettles!

It may have poured down at lunchtime but this didn't stop us going pond dipping in the afternoon, which was really fun. We worked together and took turns to try and catch some different pond creatures.

A fantastic day was had by all and I am sure you have some very tired and sleepy children tonight.
