Our Year 2 journey continues here... 

Welcome to 2F's class page

We've got a very exciting year ahead with lots of wonderful learning, topics, performances and visits... including our Year 2 residential to Petty Pool. My name is Mrs Fesmer and I am the 2F class teacher. We also have the wonderful Miss Gillibrand to help us with our learning. We've got lots to look forward to this term, continuing to build on our knowledge and learning from this year. 

Summer 1

As mathematicians, we will be learning all about measure, fractions and time. Our writing this half term will be based around the brilliant book 'Jack and the Baked Beanstalk' written by Colin Stimpson. As authors, we will plan and write a persuasive letter and a twisted narrative. As readers, we will enjoy and discuss a range of fiction, non-fiction and poetry and in History, it's all about our local heroes, learning about the life of Alan Turing, George Mallory and Emmeline Pankhurst.

As Scientists, we will learn about ways to protect our environment. In Personal Development, it's all about love.
