3H 2025 - 2026
Mrs Harvey
Mr Burke
Welcome to our class page!
We have an exciting line up of topics planned for this year, spanning from The Stone, Bronze, and Iron Ages to the exploration of Light and Shadows, as well as journeys through Europe and the study of Sikhism. There is a lot to look forward to!
In this space, we will keep you updated on what is required from home and share our weekly activities. Additionally, this year, we are fortunate to have the support of Mrs. Dadabhoy and Mrs Hubbard who will work closely with various students throughout the year.
Expectations and routines:
Homework Timetable:
Tuesday: English/Topic and Maths homework due in.
Friday: English/Topic and Maths homework will be assigned.
Reading:
Children are expected to read at least five times a week, for a minimum of 15 minutes, and please record their reading in the Reading Record.
Times Tables Rock Stars (TTRS):
By the end of Year 4, all children should have mastered their times tables. By the end of Year 3, they should know their 10, 2, 5, 3, 4, and 8 times tables. Practice sessions should occur three times a week, with each session lasting for 5 minutes. These can be monitored in school to know if children are completing these sessions.
Do not forget to visit our class photo gallery to catch a glimpse of our learning from the week.
If you need to contact any teacher, please feel free to send a message via Class Dojo to your child's class teache, they will then pass it on if needed to the other Year 3 staff. For urgent matters, such as a change in the person collecting your child that day, please contact the office.
Thank you for your support!
