DT Building Bridges
Lesson: Design and technology
Class: 5R Year: 2025 - 2026
Our DT week project was to build a bridge that was no longer than 30cm long but had to be at least 7cm wide. It needed to be raised off the ground, but there was no limit to this, and it needed to be able to hold a ball on top without it rolling away. All children achieved the object within these parameters and we had particular fun testing them out until they were destroyed. A huge well done to the winning team: Asaiah, Evan and Isla. Their bridge held strong even with myself and another child stood upon it at the same time!
