Come and have a look at the delicious bread we made! In Year 1, as part of our RE curriculum, we have been learning about the Jewish faith. We have looked at the significance of Shabbat and the religious relevance this observance holds for Jews. Challah bread is a sweet bread that is made each week to celebrate Shabbat. It can be made in various sizes and shapes. Three braids symbolise truth, peace, and justice.
