Researching and designing in DT Week

Lesson: Design and technology

We've had a great start to DT week. We have been researching fairy tales and learning about the illustrator Axel Scheffler. We have learnt about using mechanisms to enhance and bring a story book to life, such as a spinner, slider and flaps to conceal parts of a story. Then we choose our own story book to plan and are looking forward to finishing our design and bringing our story book to life.
